BOINC 6.12.26 released to public

Posted 14 Jun 2011 by Tomas Post: The next version of BOINC is now ready for public use. Check the release notes and version history for details. When I tryed it I had the problem that BOINC did not stop runing despite the fact that I had 'Exit' BOINC. I had to use ctrl, Alt, Del. to make it stop runing. Did you had no such experience? |

BOINC graphics under Vista 64 only works first time

The question is why it works after the first reboot at the end of the instalation of the Catalyst driver but does not work after I have turned off and start the computer after the completed instalation. Just to carify, the screensaver works fine all the time but if I press the 'show graphics' buton in the BOINC manager I am only able to see graphics after the first reboot at the end of the Catalyst driver installation but not when I have restarted my computer afer that. |

Posted 16 Nov 2008 by Tomas Post: Hi! I am runing BOINC and have instaled the latest drivers, Catalyst Software Suite (64 bit), but I having the folowing problem as I always had. When I have done a fresh instalation of the Catalyst driver and reboot the first time as prompted my BOINC graphics shows up and works just as expected but when I have turn off my computer and restart later my BOINC graphics is just displaying a black screen. The really strang thing is that the BOINC graphics always works the first time I have rebooted at the end of the instalation but never after that. Is there anyting I can do to make the BOINC graphics to work, execpt to delete and reinstal the Catalyst driver everytime I start my computer? This is my system: CPU type GenuineIntel Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz [Intel64 Family 6 Model 15 Stepping 11] Operating System Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium x64 Editon, Service Pack 1, (06.00.6001.00) Memory 4094.18 MB Grapic card ASUS EAH3650 SILENT MAGIC / HTDP / 512 |
