According to the Choosing BOINC projects page http://boinc.berkeley.edu/projects.php the World Community Grid is supporting AMD GPU platforms. That is as fare as I know no longer the case, non of the projects under World Community Grid are using the GPU.[/url]

The project list on the main BOINC website is outdated. I have no idea how often they update it. I've seen a few projects that other users run on BOINC that aren't in this list, or the list on the manager.
