I see that three people this morning have not felt able to do that.

In that case, make it four.

You still can't see your glaring errors, so as far as I'm concerned, it's a waste of time.

Many of your good posts were often ruined by what lawyers today would see as: -

Xenophobia
Racism
Sexism

To name a few.

Final comment on this: -

You're just as human.

I'm off for a good coffee :-)

Just my .02 worth. I think that having the mods know who is filing a complaint is also useful in that it lends a degree of accountability to ones actions that would otherwise be absent. For that reason alone, it would be required.

Made it! Now to order my collywobbles meds for the next two weeks.
The sun is out, and it looks like a whole lot of melting for the
next few days. We were able to get most of Halloween home and ready
to set up for our neighbor's kids. They all seem to know me as the
crazy old guy who is always out side looking up at the sky, and can even
pick out a few of the constellations and stars. So far we have not become
any kind of target to be sure, so far.

edit:
Now for the sports of various kinds to be had on our boob tube to-day...

I am not certain but it looks to me like them millennial
people are turning out to be pretty good parents.

Some of these kids are out-standing.

So how's it goin' with you? I was very happy to see that you
enjoyed your trip over here this time. I would have liked to
meet with any of you but as they say: "But for my plebeian
fantasies". Still it very nice to see that there are others who
think somewhat like me, and are fun to talk to. If your thinking
of moving here you should be very careful about little things,
like how cold it may get locally, what are the prevailing political
conditions where you may like to settle down in. As you have
already been here there are maney things that you are aware of.
Good luck with it, and if you decide to move here, let us know, one
never know what's up in the future.

edit:
Well who ever poped out the kids we have here are doing a fair job.....

There we go, just a few minutes on the phone and soon the collywobbles
meds will be escorted to my door by uniformed members of Her Royal Majesty's
Canadian postal services. There they will be, all pressed, polished, and
eager to please.

For the last forty years I sort of dreamed about a time when I get to 'Bogart' a
joint right there on my front step, and wave at any RCMP who may drive by.
me on the street. Of course you don't broadcast it around, and try very hard
to see that the post mistress, and my one very trusted next door neighbor are
the only ones who know.

I am lucky to have a retired Ex-Para who like all of us have demons, but like
most of us, he is holding it all together while working his way through this part of his life.

edit:
I mentioned before that our Post Mistress is one of the fun people in this town...

I don't know about millennials parenting yet, but I have found millennials to be an absolutely delightful generation.

I ride the public trains (BART) frequently in our area and whenever I happen to ride BART during times there are lots of millennials riding, such as times when they are on their way to and from school, these polite youngsters (to whom I look older than Methuselah's cat!) pop up all over the BART car and offer me places to sit. I usually politely decline, as I'm only 53 and have no problem standing on a moving train, but still, it is nice to be asked. I am generally not afforded this same courtesy when I ride BART during commute hours and the trains are more filled with people aged 35 to 65.

Give me millennials any day!!!

married

I do believe she is single but I don't know about any significant
others in her life. She is the one who offered that choosing any
Canadian politician in the last election was like choosing what 'STD'
to take home with you on election day.

edit:
She is about six foot, with a slim build and long blond hair. We also had an auto mechanic who did oil changes for either forty bucks or a defeat at chess...

re-edit:
She is 52 years old, and looks at least forty....

Well yes, but this lady is very easy on
the eyes. Add up all of what she looks
like, and just how delightful it is to
be in her presence enjoying her pleasant
wry wit. A wonderful lady.

edit:
Looking ten years younger than your real age is always easy to take for both the looker, and the looked at.

Seems beta is up but Main is still down.

Problems with that replicator server must be giving them fits.

Clowns are problem here too in the USA.

Unfortunately for 1, he ran into someone with a gun. Shot thru the head. Maybe the rest will figure it out that it's not nice to try to scare people...

Seems back up OK this morning. Eric did sort of hint that there might be a problem bringing the replica database back. Caroline is a fairly new sever I thought? Matt did say some years ago that there was effectively no limit upon the size of an Informix database.

Seems to be much more stable now than after last weeks outage. Makes me wonder if something went south at that point and progressed to get worse as time went on. We never did really recover from that outage ...

As a side note, I would not have noticed the replica was down if I didn't regularly read the SETI forums, somrthing I do as a moderator.

When I knew I was likely going to move to the IOW to look after my father I set all my machines to NNT, even thought it was the middle of the WOW event.

The last one reported on the 26th August. I only brought 2 machines with me and they did not start crunching again till the 5th Sept. For various reason I have taken little notice of what they are doing other that to check they are crunching a couple of times a day. They are now both at their highest RAC for quite a while so the phrase "If it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind.

I struggled with the machine with the 750 in to get it to run properly, but now it seem perfectly happy living on the IOW!! ;-)

PS I just looked for at my machines for the first time in a long while and see the 750Ti has had 4 errors in the last two days, coincidentally I just started to use the machine, it didn't have a screen keyboard or mouse till 2 days ago, oh look that is when the errors started. :-)

It would be interesting if you could post a link to those errors in Number Crunching at SETI. It might be the "new process initialization error code when the user session is being logged off", mentioned here in the Release notes for Beta BOINC v7.6.33, or it might be something we don't know about yet.
