My name is talha and I'd just like to say hi to everyone. As everybody knows that nowadays forums are the best source of Knowledge, and through forums we can learn a lot. When I heard of the community I thought it would be wonderful to expand to a new community, meet like minded people and share thoughts and services with fellow members.I am sure there's a lot of interesting topics and discussions happening on this forum and wanted to check it out.I was looking for a new forum to join and the higher powers of Google has brought me here! I look forward to meeting you all and wish you the best of success. |

You'll have to use the Edit link to change a post, not the Quote link, (works for an hour) and you'll have to remove all blank characters from within the BBCode tags for them to work. ;-) Gruß, Gundolf |

Beware: (s)he possibly added the advertisement link in the signature at some later time, in order to slip through the mods' eyes... Yeah, it was only added at a later stage. Still didn't save 'her' from being banished. :) Now waiting for those others in this thread to fall into the trap. ;-) |

Now waiting for those others in this thread to fall into the trap. ;-) You left it open in Pepo's quote. :-) Gruß, Gundolf |

You left it open in Pepo's quote. :-) No, I didn't. Check what link he used... I already fell for that one this morning, you just fell for it as well. :P |

Still didn't save 'her' from being banished. :) I first thought no one else will fall through, as you've hidden the post. But indeed :-) I was aware of that my post would be hidden, so I was walking rather around the trap :-)) (and was expecting being hidden anyway :) But, the note about banishing till' the end of Unix time got me really scared. Especially if it is known that the standard Unix time will wrap-around soon and finish sometimes in the past, while continuing towards the beginning of the universe :-D And, if the BOINC servers will (or already do) use 64-bit Unix time, then my option to see the end of my banishment would be even less likely to happen... (would the time even cross the Big Bang?) My only option would be to define the Unix time being unsigned ;-( Peter |

I first thought no one else will fall through, as you've hidden the post. And unhidden it, then hidden it again and unhidden it. ;-) But, the note about banishing till' the end of Unix time got me really scared. Not so sure you should be, though. As it would seem the end of time here isn't the end of time at Unix. We usually banish for forever, which in Unix time is January 19, 2038, 3:14am (UTC I think). Yet I just see that 999999999999 in Unix time is Fri, 27 Sep 33658 01:46:39 GMT, so we don't banish till the end of Unix time. You'll be purged well before that time. ;-) |
