I'm setting up several machines to run only the service, with full installation on a couple, and it occurred to me that someone else may have already worked this out.

Does anyone know the minimal files necessary to run BOINC as a service?

AFAIK, the only file that is not needed is the BOINC Manager (boinccmd.exe on windows). So, I think it isn't worth the effort to make a special "service installation" template.

BOINC Manager is boincmgr.exe
BOINC Command Line utility is boinccmd.exe

BOINC Manager is boincmgr.exe

Of course you are right. Got the wrong line in explorer to copy&paste :-)

Not needed either : Most or even all of the stuff in "locale" (quite a lot of stuff there), the icon, copying / copyright - read before delete ;-)
