I'm setting up several machines to run only the service, with full installation on a couple, and it occurred to me that someone else may have already worked this out. Does anyone know the minimal files necessary to run BOINC as a service? |

AFAIK, the only file that is not needed is the BOINC Manager (boinccmd.exe on windows). So, I think it isn't worth the effort to make a special "service installation" template. Not needed either : Most or even all of the stuff in "locale" (quite a lot of stuff there), the icon, copying / copyright - read before delete ;-) |
