I am unable to compile the boinc sample files, getting this error,
g++: /usr/local/lib/libGLU.a : NO such file or directory.

Can u please help me out, by giving the link to download the open GLU.

These are some more detail about the problem which we are facing

We are trying to run "uppercase" sanple application on a CentOS4 machine.We have installed FreeGLUT , but it doesnot generate a "libGLU.a" file . We tried Mesalib. fltk and also the original openGL library, but none of thi libs resusted in the generation of lllibGLU.a file. Due to this we are unable to compile uppercase. When we removed libGLU related commands from the uppercase makefile we could build it but, graphis was unavailable while running. Plz help.

Sorry. Most of the folks who man (and woman) these boards are better versed in the client side of BOINC.

You'll probably be better off posting your problems to the proper email list. Details in this post.

If you're just starting, I suggest you try to get the app fully working except for the graphics. Don't let the graphics problem lock you from getting the rest working.

By the way, GLU is separate from GLUT.
