People in USA with lots of money and too little time throw the computer away and buy a new one. Geeks then go around the neighborhood searching on people's trash (ooh a 33MHz! this will work great as a firewall).

A couple of weeks back on my local flea market, a guy was selling his computer for £10. When I asked him why he was getting rid of it he said he'd got a laptop and he didn't need it any more.... so I asked him what it was and he said 'windows XP', my questions along the lines of 'yes, but what...?' merely produced 100% blank looks until eventually he said 'I don't know much about computers'!
Sometimes, I despair. still, at least he wasn't just throwing it away.

You can get medication for that.
But there are side effects, so you need to read the label carefully.

Aren't the television ads for Viagra and others supposed to do that for you?

All of you Europeans were smart to ban that stuff. The ads are getting to me. Now, I'm gonna need a med just to recover from listening to the ads.

They are also an incredible waste of your doctors time. Your doctor has a pretty good idea of what you need, and having every patient bring up other drugs makes the doctor spend more time explaining why that particular drug/treatment is not correct for you.
