Running boinc 7.4.23 arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf on Raspberry pi. Project is Universe@Home.
Getting "This computer has finished a daily quota of 1 tasks(sic)"
How do I relax this limit? I can't find any relevant parameters in any .xml file I can see.

Daily quota are normally set by the servers so there is nothing you can do about them.

They come into play (automatically) when you return a sequence of errored or invalid results. Check your machine, perhaps restart it, consult other users of Universe@Home. In short, try to work out what the problem is, and fix it.

You can still be allocated one task per day. If you return that successfully, and it's valid, your quota will gradually be raised as you return successive valid tasks.

Thank you - I didn't realise that error results would affect the work flow. There were some errors reported, so I've rebooted the device to see if that clears things.

Crunching with a stock RasPi is a fun and interesting project to demo the RasPi's capabilities but it is of little longterm practical value. At the root of the problem is the RasPi's use of an SD card for mass storage. SD's deteriorate fairly quickly when used for crunching.

One way to crunch reliably with a RasPi is to add an external USB drive and configure BOINC to use it (instead of the SD card) for mass storage.

All I have to say is my RasPI has been crunching 24/7 since Jan 1, 2017 and has not had any issues crunching with the SD card. Perhaps this is one case where who makes it matters.

Also, different projects behave differently with respect to this. CPDN for instance only stops tasks going to a computer when they have been identified as a serial killer and reported as such. (Usually but not always, Linux boxes missing 32bit libs.) Also I know not relevant currently to Pi users as task executables aren't compiled for the Pi's CPU.
