I'm new to the board, but not new to BOINC.
I wanted to add Moo! Wrapper in the BOINC client 7.8.4 for Mac, but failed.
So I tried to sign up in the Moo! Wrapper website, but no matter what email address I put I always receive the following error:
Can't create account
Invalid email address: you must enter a valid address of the form name@domain
Click your browser's Back button to try again.

Does anyone have an idea how to sign up to project in a different way?

You're the second person saying this. Any special characters in your email address?

Yes, I saw that post about LHC.
I signed up to BOINC today with the same email address that I tried to use with Moo! Wrapper. Here I succeeded at the first try, there no way.

Could you check if your email or IP address is listed at Stop Forum Spam?

I live in China and if I don't use VPN I can't use the Google captcha.
The VPN is listed in the Stop Forum Spam database.
The thing is I'm trying to register in a project like I did with many using VPN (Einstein, Rosetta, yoyo, srbase, etc) with the same email address.
I don't know what to do now.

You could try filing a removal request at SFS but chances are the request gets rejected if the VPN is still used by spammers.
Or you could try another VPN but chances are it too is used by spammers.
Or you could write an email to the project administrators, explain your situation and ask that they manually create an account for you.

I tried to look for the email address of the administrator, but to no avail. This is why I came here to look for a solution. I used Boinc BAM.

I would like to add two thoughts to this discussion.

(1) I got into a dispute about how bad the effect of the increase in CO2 was to global warming. Someone on the thread said I was a climate denier and put me in that stop spam list. It took me a long time to get out of that list as I could not even register with stop spam as my email was blacklisted. I was also blocked from several forums in the meantime. It took 2 weeks to get out of that list.

(2) moo wrapper is a waste of computing power. As soon as I find out how much it will cost me to cast a vote, I will vote to blacklist them.

My email was added to SFS as well with a VPN IP. That whole system is a complete BS. Anyone can end up with their info added in the SFS system and they have no requirements to fix it. They don't give a crap either and ignore message after message. I had to sign up with some bogus name/email/IP to post for someone to finally answer. It took weeks to get it removed.
