Checked the event log and found: No usable GPUs found
Installed the AMD 3.0 SDK for my AMD drivers using AMD-SDK-InstallManager-v1.4.87-1 [Required reboot]
Checked the event log and found: No usable GPUs found
Searched the web for a solution. Read many articles in the forums titled "No usable GPUs found".
I don't believe BOINC is installed as a service because I use BoincTasks to start/stop.
Ran the clinfo utility as instructed in the BOINC Faq to Determine OpenCL capability of GPU and CPU. Seems to see it fine.

When does the coproc_info.xml get generated? And is it used to determine the # of GPUs?
Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thx.

I don't believe BOINC is installed as a service because I use BoincTasks to start/stop.

It's not installed as a service, but that's nothing to do with BoincTasks. You can tell from

04-Sep-2016 15:59:07 [---] Running under account CCEu

I see also

04-Sep-2016 15:59:07 [---] Config: don't use coprocessors

I'd strip that out of cc_config.xml before going any further. I think it must be

<no_gpus>0|1</no_gpus>
If 1, don't use GPUs even if they're present.

Thx, you two. I took that out of cc_config.xml. At least it is detecting my GPU now. I have waited 4 years to see that status. Previous to this I was running WXP and as you know, it requires specific Card/Driver/ADK combinations to make it work.
So here's the latest BOINC.log:

I believe the only project that supports GPUs right now is ATLAS@home. So I will have to double check their requirements.
Does "CAL: ATI GPU 0: AMD Radeon HD 7700/" the zero in bold refer to the device # or the # of GPUs?

I believe the only project that supports GPUs right now is ATLAS@home.

Not according to their applications list: http://atlasathome.cern.ch/apps.php
Best walk by http://boinc.berkeley.edu/projects.php to see which projects do support ATI/AMD GPUs (this will also show in the Attach to Project wizard in BOINC Manager).

Does "CAL: ATI GPU 0: AMD Radeon HD 7700/" the zero in bold refer to the device # or the # of GPUs?

The device number according to the hardware group they belong to, ATI/AMD, Nvidia or Intel:
If you have multiple ATI/AMD GPUs, they number up from device 0 to whatever.
If you have one Nvidia and one ATI/AMD they both number device 0.
If you have one Nvidia, one ATI/AMD and one Intel GPU, all number device 0.

You are correct. Don't know where I got the impression.

I did not make that clear. I was referring to the projects I was already running. But I will review that list anyway. Thx.

No, I understood your intention, but none of them have AMD GPU applications. Hence my pointing to the projects list. :)
