Message 73408 - Posted: 18 Oct 2016, 19:22:08 UTC - in response to Message 73405.

Does anyone have a rough idea what the cost should be to get the back seating area of a saloon-sized car thoroughly cleaned?

And if there is any significant drying time for steam-cleaned upholstery?

edit: oh... I didn't see "scintillating" ... that *point up there* up there... isn't. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone thought I thought it was :)

You should be able to do it yourself at the garage :)

ROTFLMAO.....

I wish I could say that is the first time I've seen something like that, but alas it is not...

I guess everyone is familiar with those targeted ads on a website. Specifically in my case, I use a webmail program for my email, and the ad in the sidebar right now is for some Oscar Meyer deli-thin turkey breast. I know the ads are generated by your surfing history, but I've never looked that product up on the internet. How in the world did they know to advertise it to me? I already have that exact brand and type in the fridge, and bought some more this morning!

It's not smart fridges you must worry about,
it's smart kids, they are every where, you watch
they are always standing off to one side watching
us, taking down every thing we say!

Darn tooting they are, and I am betting that
none of them trusts us on any subject. Before you
can get one to agree with you, they will confer
between themselves and then declare that they
need to confer furtherer before a decision can
be committed to.

You should be able to do it yourself at the garage :)

They're handy those how to's... I used one* once to work out how to turn on a playstation 3 console :) I tried to find one about how to remove a net curtain that had been eaten by a washing machine too once, but there wasn't one :/

No. This would be Annie http://whdh.com/news/explosion-at-a-car-wash-while-a-woman-is-trying-to-vacuum-her-car/

*singed blink*

not too shabby on the drying side was it people...?

No.

Obviously if it was my own car...

edit: *not a pressure washer, a how-to

Uhh....I suspect Annie would have better sense than to try to vacuum gasoline from the trunk of her car.

Okay, show hands who gave me this cold of hell? Sneezing, drippy nose, coughing my lungs out. Been in bed most of the time the past two days, fighting the complete weirdness of things that happen on my smart phone when I breathe on the display.

Sorry to hear that, Jord.
I am due myself.
Very stout, but a lot a people at work at blowing germs about recently. And my flu shot is not due for a couple of weeks.
May be too late to help, dunno.
I have staved off so far, but the immune system of a 59yo can only do so much.

Meow.

It's not flu, there's no flu yet. It's just the common cold, the rhinovirus, against which there's no magical cure. I haven't had a real fever (38C and up), just a slight rise in temperature (37.7C). Not that I'd feel it differently, with the ache in my bones.
