I new to this and am running BOINC on my glorious P4 prescott 3.2 with hyperthreading enabled its taking me about 3 hours to complete a seti WU (two done at same time cause of HT) i see people with CPU's not much better than mine with WU done in 40 mins or better is there something wrong here??? any advice?

Most likey those fast results are due to them using an Opptamized Science Application.

There are TONS of posts about them on the Seti boards.
