I'm running BOINC 6.10.58 on my Windows XP machine at work, and several times recently, I've come in in the morning to see an error that BOINC couldn't connect to any running clients, but if I shut down BOINC and restart it, everything comes up and it shows the projects/clients I'm running (SETI@HOME and ClimatePrediction.net)
Any idea what's going on and how to fix this? I'm worried that BOINC isn't actually doing any work. :-(

Thanks!

PS...I'm not a new member, just couldn't recall my login information and all attempts to retrieve it failed. :-/

Sounds like the core client is crashing. Check task manager to see if boinc.exe is running. Look for stderr.txt in your BOINC data directory to see if there is any information in there.

(Sorry, best I can do. I'm a Linux gal and haven't dealt with BOINC on Windows in the last couple years)
