I am running 5.10.45.

It has been suggested that I upgrade to a newer version. While reviewing the change logs I found this:

WINSETUP: Block installing on domain controllers for this release. (I'll fix this for the next release cycle, or a future 6.2 release.)

listed under version 6.2.4.

Does anyone know if this restriction was lifted?

I reviewed the subsequent releases and could find no reference to domain controllers.

Thanks in advance,

Dave

It was not lifted. See also the wiki release notes.

There seem to exist some workarounds (by circumventing the installer), see also this thread on the Einstein boards.
