Can only get attached if you have an invitation code.

Anyone know how or who to contact to get one.

Thanks in advance.

Even though I was automatically setup as a member of this project. I can not get in and trying the forgot my password process does not work either. Hopefully someone will see this and correct it.

Thanks in advance.

Actually, what you see is a fix. Before that time, projects that had an invitation code would find that the team founders of teams imported from BOINC Wide Teams site, would easily get into the project by utilizing the forgotten password link.

David fixed the code on the project code, so that when a project has an invitation code and the BWT are imported, even those users will have to go through official channels to get the invitation code. Just because they're team founders, they aren't any more special than people who join teams or are without teams.

Sorry, for the moment we're not giving out the invitation code, not until we have solved some bigger problems at the project.

It appears account creation is enabled again. Would you mind PMing me the invitation code? Thanks in advance.

We know about it, but only Jack has server access. He'll work on it tonight, when he's at home. He's -4 hours UTC, Washington DC, so don't expect him to be around this minute.

Still working on the restore. This will be a challenge. I am trying to use the innodb recovery tool.

All right, the database went down and somewhere in the process it ate a lot of user accounts. We are very sorry about this, Jack is doing his best in what spare time he has got to fix this problem, but since he has to do it all by hand this is extremely slow work.

So what can you do to help out? Email Jack with the email address you used to sign up with or tell him which email address you used.

When you can remember any of this, add as much information about your account as you can give, such as nick name, account ID number; or if you have it, the account key.

In the mean time, please be patient. Sometimes hardware/software is finicky and just crashes.

Depending on the state of the database we cannot guarantee that everyone can get their account back.
You will have lost your post count and very probably your credit. We're sorry about that.

The DrugDiscovery@Home Team,

Andrey

if you have trouble remembering your user id; you can use the various stats sites; like BAM, and others to find you user id for each project...

You can get most of the info from the host as well.

The Account Key (aka the Authenticator) is in the account_*.xml file, and the Host ID is in client_state.

Your going to have to rely on your own memory for the account sign up email addy and PW though. ;-)

Any idea when this project will start accepting new members...I imagine after the db recovery effort has run its course.

Per jack

Our project is back online. We now have a workflow to further analyze docking results using molecular dynamics. We are also on the verge of providing GPU support. Our project needs its volunteers to come back. Your credits can be restored. Just provide us your username, authenticator and email address. We also have acocunt creation temporarily enabled so you can register. -Jack
