Downloaded boinc_6.4.5 for windows. Installation claims that some feature is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk and wont proceed. Manwhile it has trashed the previous version.
Advice please.

Thanks; in fact a bit more googling in the cold grey light of day revealed the answer and the install is now running.
