I have just installed BOINC 6.2.19 and am running it on 32 bit Vista with a dual core processor and two screens. When the Boinc screen saver comes on (SETI at home), the screen flickers at about 5hz and somewhat irregular ... almost like it is being interrupted by something. This is not sensitive to the amount of processor time that BOINC is using, but is sensitive to which screen output is the master. (on one I can see the graphics, on the other there is just a colour bar that dances around the screen) .... (the screens are identical flat screen monitors. This does not occur with any other screen saver so I am guessing it is something to do with the way that BOINC handles the hardware? Is there a patch or fix for this?

ok .. thanks for the info and pointer .... I must say that most of the fun is seeing if your computer has found something ... maybe I'll wait until the program can cope with two screens ....
