| Jacobi Time Series for Restrepo Orbits | This application converts periodic orbit data from the Restrepo & Russell database (CR3BP) into time series of Jacobi constants. Each task processes a chunk of orbital initial conditions, numerically integrates the circular restricted three-body problem equations of motion using an adaptive Runge-Kutta method, and computes the Jacobi constant at 1000 equally spaced time points. The resulting JSON file contains the Jacobi constant time series for each orbit, labeled with stability class (stable/unstable) based on the stability index A. These time series will be used to train machine learning models (LSTM + attention + XGBoost) that predict orbital stability from early Jacobi constant prefixes. The goal is to enable rapid stability assessment for cislunar and interplanetary trajectories, supporting future space mission design and orbital debris mitigation. This work continues the work of that previously processed over 1 million orbits from the LLNL dataset using BOINC. The current phase extends the analysis to periodic orbits in 24 solar system bodies (Earth-Moon, Jupiter-Europa, Saturn-Titan, etc.), providing a comprehensive stability census across different mass ratios. | Astronomy | Yes |
