Hi everybody,
I have a Dell T5500 computer (8 CPU's + 1 nvidia card) available for crunching overnight and during weekends.
It is running on Ubuntu 10.04.4 LTS (lucid) and 64 bits. For several reasons I must not upgrade to a newer ubuntu version.
I tried to install BOINC and it seems to work, but I can't attach to any project:
When I try to join an account manager through my accounts in BAM! and Grid Republic, I get the following, with any of them:

22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] Account manager contact succeeded
22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] [error] Bad signature for URL http://setiathome.berkeley.edu/
22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] [error] Bad signature for URL http://climateprediction.net/
22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] [error] Bad signature for URL http://einstein.phys.uwm.edu/
22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] [error] Bad signature for URL http://lhcathome.cern.ch/lhcathome/
22-Mar-2013 17:19:28 [---] [error] Bad signature for URL http://boinc.bakerlab.org/rosetta/
...

When I try to add an individual project directly, I obtain a similar output:

22-Mar-2013 17:17:40 [eon2] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
22-Mar-2013 17:17:40 [eon2] Message from server: Invalid or missing account key. To fix, remove and add this project .

Detaching and adding the project again doesn't work, quitting and rejoining the account manager either.
I tried BOINC client versions 6.10.17, 6.12.34 and 7.0.28 for x86_64-pc-linux-gnu, and none of them works (the last one probably for incompatibilities with Lucid).
Of course I did google but I didn't find a solution.

I have other 11 machines crunching and I never got this problem.
Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?
Does anyone know a solution?

Thank you very much.
Yacob

It appears this is a bug in your Linux version.

GridRepublic has a thread on it: http://www.gridrepublic.org/joomla/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=263.msg1039#msg1039

Ok, somehow it works! Thanks Ageless, the fix of that thread worked.
I searched for the version following to 6.10.17 before, but I don't know why I couldn't fix it with that.
I guess I needed some focus!

BTW, why there is not a page here with access to download any useful version? http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php seems incomplete to me, so the 6.10.58 doesn't appear there and that is the one that I needed.

Thanks again
