I am having a difference of opinion with Fred, mod on high.
He is generally correct, but this time, I dunno.
Let's just say I am not backing off of my position, nor is he.
I think they call it detant.

Since he is one of the mind sources that matter and whom I respect the most here on Seti I am not forcing his opinion at this time.

The mods get their way, and I am gone for a while, not sure if it's just a chilling period or a wipe out.

I live about a 15 minute ride, at speed by car.

On one ten minute night, something stopped me. There was a sign...a kitty in the road. Full braking manuvers and side slide.

And something told me that this little kitte did NOT belong outsiode on a cool fall night.She did not even move when mu tires came screeching up to her...jest sat there staring.

I slid up to her, got out of the car. And she was sti;; just sitting there meowing.

I turned her over to the pet thingyh, and traced her/

Not everything is as it is presented in life. Things change. They move. They wander about. And if you choose to be an old cowboy like I have, things sneck up behind you and take you out. There are too many uncertainties these days that make staying in one place a dangerous thing.

I have stayed alive this long by adapting to things I do not like.
I sing my songs, but nowadays, I have to stand there and look at how the audience is receiving it. Mostly dead meat, these days, few have anything to offer or say./

I am getting rather like the second hand lions.
Nobody has any use for me, and when some look me in the eye, few really want to shoot me either. I suspect, that as in the movie, one day somebody is just gonna push me too far and the event shall be over before anybody realizes it has happened.
I guess that is how lions die./ Natural causes and such.
I do rather like the thought of going out on the attack, though.

Like I have mentioned before, I am not your personal manservant, Mark, and if you do not know or care which thread to post in while you're in your drunk endeavours, then I don't care either. I have deleted all of the posts with a Youtube link. Easier than moving them over to the threads they are designated for.

Perhaps wise to put a post-it on your monitor(s) on which you write in FAT letters "When drunk, no posting links in Seti thread".

Seti wasn't down this morning, but the kitties were.
Storm came through, took down trees and power lines, and everything was dark here for almost 4 hours.
Back up and running now, with the exception of several rigs shut down due to the arrival of some summer heat.
The kitties are safe and sound, nothing came through the roof or windows.

Meow!

Now then, that is way too previous, not allowed! 5 hours to go yet roughly.

I'll probably miss it all as I am a Steward at the "London in Bloom" event, and out to Dinner at 41 Club tonight. Have fun all and behave.
