Happy very long work day!

Lessons planned: check
Worksheets printed out: Check
Photocopying done: mostly... I shall be playing photocopier roulette 10 minutes before the start of class.. Will it work? Won't it? I just do it for the adrenaline rush.
Lunch eaten: check
Emergency slice of cake packed: check.
Last perusal of the interwebs before leaving: check.

Enjoy the rest of your outage. I shall be explaining the joys of the independence of perpendicular vectors. What happens in the x-direction, stays in the the x-direction.

It was, Es, it was.

Winning

Still not over for me. Just taking a quick break before heading back to the chalk face.

As usual, it went down while I was at lunch.

Lunch was supposed to be an open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. And it was... First, I had to wait a few minutes for the cook to bring out the pan of gravy. Then the server put a slice of bread on a plate, then topped it with turkey from the same pile she uses to make cold sandwiches. She put gravy on that, then a blob of potatoes on the side. I had to ask for more gravy on the potatoes.

Wow, Alberta is going to the poles.....
Oh boy just think of all the terrible
things I say on the web and then get
away with it all!
"Did you hear the one about the Alberta
politician who couldn't shake hands because
there was no way he could get his hands out
of the voter's pockets? It is going to be fun!

Another one bites the dust. James Best dies aged 88. Some of you may know him better as Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane from the Dukes of Hazzard.

May you rest well, sir.

And, as usual, hoping that there is no post-outage outage.

We have a door? What happened to the curtain?
Why am I always the last to be informed?
