HOW TO INSTALL BOINC ON MANDRIVA 2008 FREE

BRAD Send message Joined: 20 Jul 10 Posts: 3	Message 33858 - Posted: 20 Jul 2010, 17:55:28 UTC Hello all, Has anyone any idea how to install Boinc on Mandriva free 2008 free the boinc installer doesn't seem to work, Mandiva trys to read the file in kwrite and just does nothing.I have been using BOINC for a number of years on a Windows XP system and would love to be able to continue with this system. Many thanks Brad Hi Brad. You can try to check Mandriva's package manager. I'm a Fedora person, so I don't know if it's there. I don't use the Fedora package. You can follow the instructions here for installing as a service (daemon in Linux speak) or here for a personal install. Kathryn :o) ID: 33877 ·
