I just got these messages on my single core XP machine...

7/31/2008 11:47:16 AM||Running CPU benchmarks
7/31/2008 11:47:47 AM||[error] FP benchmark ran only 2.500000 sec; ignoring
7/31/2008 11:47:47 AM||[error] CPU benchmarks error

There seems to be no adverse effect.
