Hello there!

I've just upgraded from 5.10.45 to 6.2.14, and the new boinc client can't start the CPU Benchmarking, i've got the following error message when i start the CPU test:

31/07/2008 1:37:55 alfa||Running CPU benchmarks
31/07/2008 1:38:27 alfa||[error] FP benchmark ran only 0.375000 sec; ignoring
31/07/2008 1:38:27 alfa||[error] CPU benchmarks error

I'm running WCG, Cels@Home, Magnetism@home and Ibercivis on this machine and so far i dont have any other issues (well the grafics on WCG don't show but i guess that this is WCG's problem ^^)

It's a Windows XP SP3 x32 bit running on a Intel Celeron D 3,06Ghz, 2GB RAM

Any ideas why the new client don't want's to start the CPU benchmarking?

Cheers,

OMG!! ¬¬

Nevermind, sorry guys i've found the problem. The problem was created by one app from the HP Printer drivers (AKA i need to format ¬¬), so closing that app now the CPU test runns correctly! (also i can see the grafics on WCG without problems)

Sorry again ^^

Cheers,

From DA.

This may mean that a higher-priority CPU-bound process is running.
Have user check Task Manager.

Maybe it's the same problem, checkout with task manager if there's another app that makes the CPU work very high, that was my problem and i solved it closing that app
