I have recently updated my BOINC software and have discovered a problem.
When I set BOINC manager to "run based on preferences", all my active projects show "activities suspended". The only way to run them appears to be "run always". This did not happen with my old software.
Is this a fault, or am I doing something wrong?

Check your global preferences on the project website.

It's not unheard of them getting switched for some strange reason.

Make sure they're set so that "Do Work While Computer is in Use" is YES.

Then update through BOINC.
