I am currently a 911 Dispatcher. I have worked for Packard Bell, HP, and a private computer company. Now I do computer work on the side while doing my day job, doing my part in a very large team to help save lives.
I have been running BOINC on Windows and Linux for a long time now, even ran the SETI program back when it was stand-alone. |

| I ran SETI back when it was stand-alone and then quit after I changed jobs. After I tried to run it again is when I discovered BOINC. After SETI went down for an extended period of time, I started looking at some of the other projects you can run - which I think is a "sliced bread" kind of thing... I tend to change back and forth between projects from time to time, but I'm glad to contribute to heath research no matter the project. |
