**Iowa Dairy Farm resident**
Problem-solving is a continued theme. Given breaker bar & plug gap & wire brush at 5yrs old. Know or learn how to fix anything. Welding, forging, foundry. To build, rebuild, repair any & all pieces of farm equipment. Including Diesel & Gasoline technology. Fine-tuning for best efficiency. Regular maintenance. Animal husbandry, cows, hogs, chickens, peafowl, gueinne fowl, goats, rabbits. Horticulture with appropriate forage mixes for cows. Corn, Soybeans, Oats & Alfalfa, Timothy, Red Clover Mix Hay. Not using pesticide or herbicide technology.

**College Major in Industrial Technology**
Emphasis in Graphic Arts Technology. Exposure to all areas of industrial technology. Wood, Metal - foundry, forge, machining, Plastics, Fluidics, Automotive, Industrial Testing, non-destructive and destructive. Full BW darkroom, copy, plate, lithography.

**Senior Systems & Network Engineer**
Working at the University of Iowa ITS, Mt Mercy College, to Siemens VDO, and Rockwell Collins - now Rockwell Avionics as a Senior Systems & Network Engineer. Now forcibly retired from 27 years as an IT Systems/Network Engineer. After an “Unscheduled Cardiac Event”. Experimentation with Linux and Raspbian (a limb of the Debian Tree) included the Raspberry PI series of SBC’s. Have a working Bitcoin harvesting matrix. Working with OctoPie on both Monoprice Mini v.1 and Creality Ender3 Pro 3D Printer. Enhancements to Ender ongoing.

**Fiber Artist, Historic Preservationist.**
I focus on my Fiber Arts role, hand-harvested, hand processed, hand-blended, hand-spun yarns. I use Angora Rabbit Wool, Alpaca, Llama, Bison, Silk, and other natural fibers. Hand-dye using both natural and commercial dyes.
I’ve been doing this for over 15 years. Since we acquired American Fuzzy Lop, French - Satin - Giant Angora rabbits. Showing them at ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) shows in MO, IA, MN, WI, IL. Being awarded Best of Breed & other awards by Many of the State Rabbit Breeders Clubs for multiple years. NARBC (National Angora Rabbit Breeders Club)National shows. Including a BOS French Angora.

Having lived in the very first building built in all of the "Amana Villages" for 26+ years. see wiki "https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Community_of_True_Inspiration" This is a post & beam building, hand adzed Iowa red oak posts & beams & black walnut studs. Built-in the summer of 1854 as a shelter for the first community members, as they had just purchased the land west of Iowa City, in Lenox Township, Iowa County, Iowa.
Local historic preservation planning & zoning district (the only one in Iowa, see Iowa Code 303.41). I was on the Historic Preservation Commission - the local CLG for 13 years, 10 as chair.
I was also on the board of directors of the precursor to the current organization https://www.preservationiowa.org/. I worked closely with staff from the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO), National Trust for Historic Preservation.
**Oh, I raised 3 boys to adulthood, as productive members of society.**
