I'm a 29 year old Helsinki, Finland native who loves to dabble with all kinds of things that combine human interaction with computers. I work for Laurea University of Applied Sciences (Espoo, Finland) as a project manager for a project called ORE (Open Rendering Environment).
ORE is basically trying to bring Janus Kristensen's BURP into wider audiences by supplying a more powerful server, *MUCH* more bandwidth and a bunch of other features (uploader for Blender, screensaver, CC licensing etc.) that haven't been there before. |
| Your opinions about BOINC message boards |

Currently my main interest lies in taking this particular BOINC project and trying to figure out how to make a kind of a social media out of it (with the help of Drupal). Bringing people together to talk about and create 3D graphics. This will hopefully ultimately make people also realize that their computers could also be contributing to science in other BOINC projects.
I think BOINC can really reach new masses through integration work with Drupal. |
