Ex British, born 12/08/1947, now French, retired and living in the South of France at Béziers since 1989.
I left the UK in 1979, moved to the Channel Islands, Alderney, Guernsey and finally Jersey but found island life too expensive so I moved 60 miles south to Bretagne in France and found the weather so much worse than in the Islands that I moved to Spain, BIG mistake, Mafia, Fascist Homophobes! Left after two years and settled in the South of France, finally becoming a French citizen in 2007 to have FULL voting rights.
My interests are computing, Internet and videos (watching and creating), I've invested in some semi-professional cameras and equipment.
Since 2004 I have lived with my "life-partner" and on the 2nd of November 2013 we got married (see picture, I'm on the left).
www.computours.org is our personal site, not very much there, but there are links to all my other sites. Would like to have a few more members in our team "ComputOurs" Jacques and I are a bit lonely.

Why do you run BOINC? - Got the equipment and can still afford the electricity.
I run several projects on my various machines, I don't understand them fully, but I think it is a good socialist thing to help others. |
