| hi, my name is adrian. im nearly 9 and am a girl. i like astronomy and science and gardening-just in my own little garden i grow orchids and herbs mostly. i have a fish pond in our garden too. i like school a lot too. my dad is an engineer and has to go away a lot for work, my mum is a microbiologist and works at the hospital. when i was only little my dad went to CERN and we all went there where he did some work but i dont remember much but i do remember playing in the snow. i live in cairns in queensland and there is no snow here. i wnat to use my computer that i got for my birthdat to help BOINC. the projects i started on are SAT@home and LHC@ home, but only SAT looks like its doing anything just now. i like monty python so i want to join the TKWSN |

| i am interested in lots of types of science and maths and i went to CERN once. i have a new computer which i am just learning to use and have lots of free capacity. i am only new here and have not yet formed an idea about the projects, besides most of them look really complicated and i will have to think about them some more so i don't really have any views yet. i am finding it hard to navigate around on boinc and with registration and trying to read the code that you have to retype is really hard, i havn't been able to copy it properly yet but partly because my eyesight is not real good. I got sick and lost part of my eyesight in both eyes. are there many other children in boinc? it would be fun to talk to them as well. So far i find boinc interesting but i have only just started so i have a lot to learn about it. I will post a picture of me soon when i find out how. |
