| BOINC runs without fault or intrusion, provides a choice of many worthwhile projects, satisfying feedback accessible at my whim rather than pushed at me. The ethos of the thing fills a role for which others might turn to religion, that is, participating in actions of value in community. My volunteer work does that too. |
