Your personal background.
Wilton Observatory is a STEM program like no other! Built on the grounds of the Wilton Community School in Wilton, Iowa, our Pier-Tech Tele-Station 5 observatory features a Meade LX600ACF primary telescope on a robotic pier, with a full automation suite capable of remote and autonomous operations. Our instrumentation array features a total of 3 main telescopes, 6 cameras, one Shelyak ALPY 600 spectrometer, two filter wheels and a selection of Astronomik, Baader and Chroma filters for all main spectrum sections BB and NB.
An additional aspect of out project is SETI and othe forms of distributed computing intiative that focus on the study of the universe. We are currently working on developing our capabilities in this area.
