Bolt is a toolkit for web-based teaching and training.
Its main features:

 * Bolt provides tools for statistically measuring and comparing the effectiveness of lessons, relative both to the entire student population and to subgroups based on demographics and other factors.
 * Bolt provides tools for making courses adaptive, based on student characteristics.
 * Bolt is based on PHP, a simple but powerful scripting language.

Thus, Bolt is designed for educational contexts in which there
is a constant arrival of diverse students,
and in which course developers want to continually
analyze and improve the effectiveness of the teaching materials.
