Smart Stb is an android application which is able to be easily installed on LG and Samsung smart TVs. It is a TV control application that gives users the ability to change the display configuration of their television set. This is done by accessing the interactive buttons of the Smart Stb. The user may either select the configured setting from a wide array of options provided, or just push the button and enter into the specified mode. If one selects the second option, one will get a combination of picture and video input to the Smart Stb, which could be helpful when watching videos on the big screen.

Smart Stb requires rooted smartphone devices and will work only with LG and Samsung smart TVs running the Gingerbread and Ice Cream Sandwich operating systems respectively. Installation of this app is quite easy. The free trial offer of Smart Stb lasts for a limited period of time. Users must download the free version and register the same. Installation of the app on the user's phone platform is simple.
The application enables the connection of digital media players such as iPods, USB drives, and even digital TV Tuner boxes to the televisions. This is done by connecting these media players to the web services on the Smart Stb through a portal just like those that can be expected from a cable or digital TV service provider. Once this is completed, the TV shows, photos, and videos can be accessed directly from the Smart Stb. Some of the latest TV models are capable of integrating Smart Stb. The software works even if the device is not connected to the internet.
Smart Stb is programmed to access the URL s such as the one used in the URL: portal. Therefore, users can configure the Smart Stb with the use of their respective portal urls. The portal url should be specified in the settings of the Smart Stb. The TV mac address of the device is also specified in the settings of the Smart Stb.
As a result, when the user wants to view something in the television, the URL and the m3u playlist or are used in the order that the user is supposed to see them. For example, when the URL for the movie 'Fifty Shades of Grey' is entered into the smartphone, it will automatically load the stalker portal address and 'load movie'. The URL for the m3u playlist will be loaded first and will appear at the top of the screen. When the user scrolls down to the next displayed video, she will see the movie title.
The URL and the m3u playlist are contained in the system settings of Smart Stb. Whenever the user changes anything in the settings, the changes will be reflected on the Smart Stb. Therefore, there are two ways in which you can access this content. You can either scroll down to the bottom of the settings and open the portal url or you can simply move your finger over the playback button and the 'movies' will start playing one after the other. If you want to watch the movies online using Smart TV, then you need to make sure that your internet connection speed is fast enough to accommodate the videos streaming.
An important thing to know about Smart Stb is that it does not use any logins to connect to the internet. This means that you can use this device anytime you want and anywhere you go. One of the other interesting things about the Smart Stb is that it can act as an IP cam. This means that it can stream live footage from the camera to the smartphone. To do this, you need to configure the device properly.
To start, you need to turn on the device. When you are opening the settings for the first time, you need to enter the system settings. Once you have finished this step, you should click the 'OK' button. After that, you can open the video loading portal through the 'Settings' option present on the system settings. Now, you can simply select the video you want to stream using the device's browser.
