Well, it seems some things aren't going to change. Since the switch from IBM, I think the last 2 months was the longest that the system had been up (more or less) since.
But it is now more than 3 months since the returned valid results don't get purged. This was never a problem before, so why are they unable to get this fixed quickly?
With all this data amassed since end of October, with won't get any easier as time goes by... :(

Won't even bother to ask if all those WUs from June through September 2022 are ever going to be credited as promised before (that's about 5 years of runtime for me)...

I basically solved the problem by switching to "Simple View", then switching back to "Advanced View". The red-yellow-green buttons are back and minimize and close work as before, but hitting the green maximize button now results in a full screen window, without the buttons, which requires the steps to mentioned to get them back. Very annoying, to say the least...

According to the developer: [quote]on OS 10.13, if you click the green maximize button and it enlarges the window so it occupies the entire screen, the title bar with those buttons will disappear, as will the menubar. You must move the mouse to the very top of the screen to get the buttons to reappear, then press the green button again.
Sorry, but that doesn't apply here. There was never a green button on that BOINC Manager window after it reopened after the update and the window isn't full screen/"occupying the whole screen", it starts under the main menu bar, at about the right edge of the black Apple menu "button", extends beyond the right screen edge and doesn't quite reach to the Dock at the bottom of the screen. I can only hide it with Command-H (or from the BOINC Manager menu) or quit the apps from that menu. When I re-open the app, it shows the same slightly right shifted window as before, sans red-yellow-green buttons.
All other application that I use regularily on this machine, like Firefox (in which I am typing this), Lazarus IDE (RAD GUI for the FreePascal compiler) and LibreOffice are working just fine. The only problem is with BOINC Manager...

Just updated my MacBook Pro to macOS 10.13.1 High Sierra and now when I start the BOINC Manager, those three red/yellow/green buttons are gone and I am not able to minimize or maximize the window. I can also not resize it or move it with the mouse by touching the screen edges...
I am on the supposedly latest version of the BOINC manager, 7.8.3. Also had to re-install this version as when it tried to auto-start after the update to High Sierra, it showed a permission error. This was fine after the re-install, it reconnected to my projects as before and seems to be running ok, just that the window management of the manager is fubar'ed...
