Wonder if Win 11 is doing something in the background lately that wouldn't allow processing to proceed. Will set some logs to see what's happening. Thanks for your wisdom everybody.

Tasks such as Milky Way and Climate Prediction are barely running. For example, Climate Prediction was running all night and only show 2 seconds processing time. Same for Milky Way. Never had a problem running tasks before as they ran very quickly, using a lot of the CPU cycles. Any ideas? I had 10 projects running but after the upgrade there were no tasks at all. I've started BOINC Mgr and active tasks are zero. Where are the task folders located? Checked everywhere on my drives but nothing shows up. Hate to lose all the processing data.

When I exit (X out) of BOINC on my desktop, I expected all processing to stop. However, after initializing BOINC again, I find that several projects have gone to completion, meaning they weren't completed when exiting but now are. Is BOINC running these projects in a background service or something?

I do not have that project in my list (although I once had the project). How can I change this - I have no options?

15) Message boards : Questions and problems : None of my projects run after update (Message 81398) Posted 18 Sep 2017 by rzn6jw Post: I'll try uninstalling 7.8.2 w/VirtualBox and reinstalling just 7.8.2 to see if that does anything. I checked the permissions and all seem OK. Is there a particular permission that needs to be set. By the way, during installation, it takes the BOINC installer about 12 minutes to set permissions. Is this normal? How/where are the options to get the startup logs? Thanks.

I reverted to v7.6.33 (no problems running projects) but nothing runs also. Running Win10 Pro CU 64bit with latest updates. Projects: Seti@Home LHC@Home pogs ClimatePrediction Asteroids@Home Einstein@Home etc. Any ideas? Never had this problem before.
