If I click on "My Account" at the top of this page, I get this:

At the bottom half, I get my Boinc points total and average points.
Also links to the statistic webpages.

So it should be possible to links the forum account with my boinc account via the Cross-Project ID. But how?

Will I have to remove Boinc completely from my computer?

Than I'll probably will have to start looking for my account information for the reinstall?

What if I lost this information after my previous computer crash?

Real picture of my screen some time ago. A bit later, it did not startup again at all.

Nope. Deactivating the antivirus did not help. Still the same problem occurs.

I have Boinc installed on a few computers for a few years now, but I don't think I've ever used the forum.

So now I have registered, to be able to write in the forum.

But in the account it says I'm a Boinc user as of today and I have no points, while this is absolutely not so:

Did I automatically already have a login for the forum? Can I link the accounts?

What to do?

Since v.7.2.42 I am not able to update to newer version. That is a long time now. I am still using this old version:

I get the message there is a newer version available, I download it, start the installation, but the installation always gets stranded here:

The instruction on 0x5bc46935 refers to memory at 0x013fde20. The read or write operation on the memory failed.

This computer still runs on Windows-XP SP3 32bit.

What to do?
