But if they're doing anything, it's to assist the ICE employees. Maybe protect federal buildings.

14) Message boards : Questions and problems : Intel 630 graphics card not used by BOINC/Einstein in Ubuntu 24.04 Message 116078 Posted 11 May 2025 by Jord	OpenCL (Open Computing Language) is a framework for writing programs that execute across heterogeneous platforms consisting of central processing units (CPUs), graphics processing units (GPUs), digital signal processors (DSPs), field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) and other processors or hardware accelerators. OpenCL specifies a programming language (based on C99) for programming these devices and application programming interfaces (APIs) to control the platform and execute programs on the compute devices. OpenCL provides a standard interface for parallel computing using task- and data-based parallelism. What you used was OpenGL, the graphics library that's used for 3D acceleration of graphics (like games). The drivers already installed on the system, are only a software layer that points out to the operating system and other programs, how to use this hardware to output to a monitor. OpenCL (and CUDA for Nvidia cards) specifies how to use parts of the GPU for calculations. And that's what used by the projects for their applications that use the GPU for their calculations.

People ask me if I know what happened to him, but all I can say is what I heard from someone else in April.

Not sure how well supported Intel drivers are under Linux, but you could follow https://dgpu-docs.intel.com/driver/installation.html

Outside that hour, a thread starter can add a post, edit that post and then edit the thread title as well. Or he can click the Red X underneath one of his posts and via the message box that comes up report his post to the moderators and ask that they change the thread title.
