1) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Problem: Windows XP taskbar visible while screensaver running (Message 2837) Posted 28 Jan 2006 by twobears Post: I have BOINC version 5.2.13 running in Windows XP. The only project attached is Seti@Home. The screensaver is set to start after 5 minutes of inactivity, to run the Seti@Home screensaver graphic for one minute and then go to a blank screen. When the screensaver is running with a blank screen the Windows (XP) taskbar is visible at the bottom of the screen. The monitor screen is all blank (black) except for the Windows taskbar at the bottom of the display. If I move the mouse to close the screensaver, minimize all programs and click on a desktop item to select (but not open) it, when the screensaver starts again the taskbar is no longer visible. But eventually the taskbar reappears at the bottom of the otherwise blank monitor screen. Anyone else had this happen? Any suggestions about how to fix it?
