2) Message boards : BOINC Manager : Problems connecting with BOINC (Message 2561) Posted 13 Jan 2006 by Apuleius449 Post: One of my machines can no longer connect to the client. I can use all other internet functions and my other machines are online with BOINC, but I keep getting the error, "BOINC Manager is not able to connect to a BOINC client. Would you like to connect again?" I have disabled my firewall and a computer attached to the same router is working properly. It is an XP system and a P4 2.0 that hasn't given me many problems throughout its lifespan. Un-installing and then re-installing BOINC has not helped either. I am at a loss. Any Ideas?
