BOINC appearing on VM, but unable to find it on the VM

BOINC appearing on VM, but unable to find it on the VM

Posted 29 Jul 2021 by wpfefferb0fh Post: I have been running WireShark on one of our VMs that is up in Microsoft Azure and I'm seeing quite a bit of BOINC traffic. However, it doesn't appear to be installed on the VM, or at least I am unable to find it in 'Services' or in either of the 'Program Files' folders. How would I find BOINC in this instance and remove it, or does MS use it for some reason in Azure? Thank you for any help. Wayne Pfeffer |
