BOINC client :
No schedulers responded
(Message 2080)
Posted 19 Dec 2005 by MikeMcD Post: I'm getting this message on a new system I'm trying to compile boinc for. I get exactly the same problem from three boinc servers, so I'm pretty sure it's my something in my build. I'm running boinc on a linux 2.6 (Suse 9) system, with ppc processors. To get boinc to compile and install I had to also build and install curl, both appear to have compiled cleanly and installed fine, but all I get are No schedulers responded errors, and the response files in my boinc directory have various errors like: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <html><head> <title>413 Request Entity Too Large</title> </head><body> <h1>Request Entity Too Large</h1> The requested resource<br />/EinsteinAtHome_cgi/cgi<br /> does not allow request data with POST requests, or the amount of data provided in the request exceeds the capacity limit. <hr> <address>Apache/2.0.53 (Fedora) Server at einstein.phys.uwm.edu Port 80</address> </body></html> from Einstein, or <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN"> <HTML><HEAD> <TITLE>400 Bad Request</TITLE> </HEAD><BODY> <H1>Bad Request</H1> Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand.<P> Invalid Content-Length<P> <HR> <ADDRESS>Apache/1.3.33 Server at setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu Port 80</ADDRESS> </BODY></HTML> from seti. Has anyone else out there tried to get Linux / ppc boinc working? Any suggestions? Thanks, Mike |
