1) Message boards : BOINC Manager : New computer, but no screensaver appears (Message 2028) Posted 17 Dec 2005 by sherri Post: I have BOINC running with Seti and Einstein on a four-year old computer and the screensaver works perfectly for both apps. I just setup a brand new Dell computer with Win XP Pro. I downloaded BOINC with the same apps on the new computer with BOINC as the screensaver. My account settings show both computers running the apps. The screensaver appears when I preview or when I show graphics. However, when the screensave activates, I get only a black screen. Any ideas on how to get the screensaver to work on my brand new computer?
