I'm having a problem keeping the preferences as I've set them.
After some time they auto-change.

Interrupt GPU if computer is in use : no becomes yes

Suspend work when non-BOINC CPU usage is above
0 means no restriction
Enforced by version 6.10.30+ 0% becomes 25% (Even tried 100%)

Skip verification : no becomes yes

and e few others also.

I gave al the preferences of al the boinc projects I participate in exactly the same but for some reason they will not stay that way. I normally do not use the local preferences.

"try comparing run times in the top hosts" is no good cause these results are much too diverse.
Just need another cpu for running, besides malaria.net, WCG and F@H again.
I've read the L2 cache of the amd's is sufficient so I just need advice on L3.

I intend to buy a replacement for my X2 4050e but don't want to spend too much money.
As it has to crunch malaria.net 24/7 and I'm not doing anything strange/particular with it I'm thinking of a Phenom II X4 810 and downwards like a Athlon II X4 620/630.
No I need to know if the L3 cache is of any importance for crunching in order to make a choice between for instance a Phenom II X3 720, a X4 810 or a Athlon II X4 620/630.
Anyone any experience with it ?
