I thought I was going to get an email letting me know someone responded but I didn't see any. In any case, I'll try setting BOINC to keep at least 7 days of work. I've seen how some projects have quick deadlines and others not so quick so maybe that's just what I'll have to play around with - project participation. Thanks again for the responses.

2) Message boards : Questions and problems : How to accommodate periodic internet connections (Message 73708) Posted 2 Nov 2016 by John Fritsch Post: I'm running BOINC on a laptop which only gets access to uploads/downloads once per week on a Tuesday. When tasks are uploaded and a project is updated, new work will come down and typically I'll get some tasks which need to be submitted before the following Tuesday. I hope I've explained the situation clearly enough....is there some way to handle this?
