Maxed resources client disabled

Posted 14 Oct 2016 by PVarney Post: I have set boinc not to run and disabled it in MS config, however after using my PC for a few hrs I noticed it running slower and the fan speed pickup, I checked task mngr. and found 4 instances of wcgrid_zika_7.08_windows_x86_64, I closed them all out and my pc went back to min. resources but one by one they all 4 re started. Is this a bug? I haven't used boinc in almost 2 weeks and it just randomly started after manually stopping all four of them 3 times they have stayed off.... So far, not sure what made them start |
