but, would it really be SO bad to put a tab back, I personally don't like it opening a separate window.

thats all good and well, but can you guys PLEASE do something about boinc changing this ID randomly on reboots, never had this problem until somewhere in the 6.10.xx era(can't remember exactly when it changed) and now it not only changes host cpid but then also generates a new boincstats BAM host id as well(I know that isn't really your area).

I long for the good old days.

the only thing currently on my wish list is, not having boinc assign new host id's so often... I like to track stats for each host across all projects but when it generates new id's it makes it impossible without keeping EVERY project attached all the time. also some projects don't allow host merging so I end up with multiple hosts for the same computer.

thanks, never thought to look at release notes for the other platforms with newer versions.

tried out 6.10.50 x64 on my lappy, and with time of day restriction set in the preferences it will suspend network activity at the specified time even if the activity setting is to always use network. worked fine up til 6.10.49 (which I'm running now).

I know, I know, sounds strange to set preferences and then override them, but thats the way I work.

not sure if x32 version does this as I didn't try it out.

edit: forgot to add, this is with Win7 home premium 64.
