BOINC won't detect anything that isn't there. You say yourself, you remove the drivers and they get reinstalled, so that means something is there.
A built-in GPU on the motherboard, perhaps?
It's possible you have a dual AMD GPU on one card in there. I'd say, open up the case and do a count of the cards in there.
Or run something like GPU Caps Viewer or SIV to see what's in there.
I have one sapphire radeon R9 270x and one NVidia Geforce 750TI both have only one gpu circuit on plate so I have to see 1 ATI/AMD GPU at the Boinc log.
If you look the log you will see 2 ati gpu0 and gpu1 this is some kind of bug I think. I try to back old driver I hope its solved. If not 1 ati gpu seems like 2 and I have to continue crunch 2 wu at a time :( because when I try seti 2 wu start to crunch gpu %100 fan %80. No app_config at boinc also.

Hi,
I do a fresh install Windows 10 and after that Boinc 7.6.22. When I look boinc logs I saw 2 ATI GPU but I have only 1 real GPU. Look at belove

How is that possible Boinc detected 1 more GPU ? When I try some projects like SETI, Collatz, Milkyway boinc start 2 wu at a time so GPU run %100 and windows become laggy as hell.
I try uninstall AMD driver, delete all with DDU application and re install again but nothing change. For my Nvidia GPU no problem.
Any suggestions about this ?
