1) Message boards : Questions and problems : BOINC ignoring CPU time restrictions (AstroPulse process) (Message 26047) Posted 16 Jul 2009 by Eric Soyke Post: I am running SETI on BOINC and noticed that it seems to disregard the allowable time restrictions I have set for the CPU. In particular, the process "astropulse_5.03_windows_intelx86.exe" will start up, hogging more than 95% of the CPU even though I have BOINC configured to only run after 5pm. Either I figure out how to get it to obey my restrictions or it's gone for good. Anyone? BOINC 6.6.31, Windows XP
