I have stickers for organisations that I'm a member of on my car - they get me free parking at some venues. Other people have bumper stickers - either jokes, or showing support for environmental or political causes. I doubt something like that would cause any problems, and might spark some interesting conversations.

But I'd steer clear of a giant-sized paint job that might imply sponsorship or endorsement by the wider BOINC community. Might not look good if you found yourself in an embarrassing position while driving it!

Yeah I'm looking into just getting a custom car decal made of the BOINC logo like at the top left of this forum. The logo isn't bad tbh. I could see me putting it on the top center of the windshield. Not sure how it would look however... it's not a very long logo so it would need to be stretched out.

I was actually thinking of doing a little BOINC paint job on my beater long ago. Not so much on this one, but if I had the cash I would definitely do it in some way. Kinda like how Deadmau5 painted his Ferrari with nyan cat. When you have so many cars, why not do wacky stuff like that??

Hi, I recently bought a 2017 Race Red Mustang GT with white stripes going down the middle. I like BOINC a lot (it's the future and Samsung has caught on) and would like to put it on top of my front windshield. It will be on the top 4 inches of the windshield which is legal in California. I've looked up the rights to the BOINC logo and it seems like I should be good to go, but I just wanted to make sure that BOINC wants this. I have mufflers on my Mustang, but there is an x-pipe replacing the resonator. It's not the classiest car ever but it does get some looks.
